It's time for another Makeup of the Month post! Although I could just name this 'Emma's new go-to look' since it's basically the same look I've been wearing for the past three months, tehe.
Eyes »
Almost three months have passed and I'm still going crazy for the Too-Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. If you're not all over this already then you seriously need to be. I think this might be my second favourite palette in existence! (The first being the Sigma Warm Neutrals palette.)
The eye look I've found myself wearing almost every time I wear makeup at the moment is just this simple, neutral smokey eye. I am however back to using gel liner because my Eyeko liquid liner has run out. I must admit, I didn't realised how much I missed the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner until I used it again! Nothing beats it.
Lashes »
The lashes I've been using are the xoBeauty The Glamourista lashes and they are STUNNING. xoBeauty is a brand owned by my beautiful friend Shannon Harris (Shaaanxo on YouTube) and I couldn't be more proud of her. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try them and I definitely need to stock up on these babies! The style reminds me a lot of the Eldora H104 which you might remember from my last couple Makeup of the Month posts.
Lips » Boy oh boy. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in the shade 07 Nude-ist... Where have you been all my life?! This lip product is all I've been wearing since I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I saw the lovely Gabb from velvetgh0st use the red version and I knew I needed it in my life. It's a very similar product to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams but dare I say a bit better quality?
The finish is definitely matte but it's not drying and doesn't even set on the lips so you don't end up with it setting in the lines or looking crusty. One thing I should mention about this product is how it wears. These photos were taken a couple of hours after applying my makeup and the lipstick had gotten notably darker. It's not a bad colour, but it's not exactly how it looks in the tube and when you first apply. Just a warning!
