Makeup of the Month | July

This month I've been all about the Too-Faced Chocolate Bar palette and a bold red lip. The bold lip is back ladies and gentlemen... Oh yes.




Lips »
I've been wearing a lot of neutral lip colours lately, mainly because of my Invisalign aligners... Lipsticks end up in them sometimes and you have to take them out and brush them and it's no fun so I've just been trying to avoid that situation completely. BUT, I've seriously been missing my bold lip so I'm kind of just dealing with it right now, haha.
This is my favourite red lipstick - elf Studio Matte Lip Colour in Rich Red. (It looks a little bit pink because it mixed with the foundation on my lips.) It's extremely long lasting and wears beautifully. I actually posted a photo of the wear back when I first started Instagram so check that out here.

Eyes »

Now I wanted to start doing pictorials for the eye looks in these posts but I tend to take these photos on days when I'm actually getting ready to do something so I don't think I'll have time to I'm afraid!
As always, the eyes are basically standard placement smokey eyes.

Face »
The only difference to my base routine the past couple of weeks has been the concealer. My MAC Pro Longwear ran out and I haven't been bothered to go all the way into central London to buy another (I want to check a different shade or I'd just order online!). So instead I've been using the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Concealer.
